CONCORD, NH – A new study from the NH Fiscal Policy Institute has found a wide disparity in property tax bills across New Hampshire.
Concord has one of the highest tax rates for a property worth $500,000 or more and the study shows that taxes on a property of the same value in next-door Webster is roughly $6,000 less
Overall, the study suggests that state property taxes have risen faster than inflation. Over the past three years cities and towns have seen the biggest jump in property taxes in 15 years.
