MANCHESTER, N.H.- Authorities are investigating just what sparked a three-alarm fire which tore through the SIG Sauer facility in Epping over the weekend and left a firefighter with minor injuries and drew a heavy response from multiple departments.

According to Fire officials, a little before 11a.m. Fire crews responded to a call of smoke at the SIG Sauer facility on Exeter Road. Once on scene crews were greeted with smoke coming from the two-story commercial building, however due to the volume of the fire additional crews were called in.

Fire officials say the blaze was under control by about noon. One fire fighter on scene was transported to Exeter Hospital for minor injuries but has since been released.

As for a cause the State Fire Marshal’s office says that’s the cause of an ongoing investigation.
