HOPKINTON, NH – Firefighters had a busy afternoon yesterday responding to back to back fires in Franklin and Hopkinton.
Shortly after 2 yesterday afternoon The Franklin Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire at 189 Sanborn St. – no injuries were reported.
Around 2:30 yesterday afternoon crews were sent to a home in Franklin which was heavily damaged by a fire in its garage. All occupants were able to evacuate safely.
Less than a half hour later Hopkinton and Concord firefighters responded to 660 Hopkinton Road for a fire in a colonial-style home built in 1790. No one was home at the time of the fire.
