LANCASTER, NH.H.- A Coos County jury has found a Berlin man guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting death of the mother of his children.

On Tuesday a jury of six men and six women took about three hours to find Dustin Duren guilty of second-degree murder, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, and child endangerment.

Duren testified in court that he shot and killed Caitlin Naffziger on February 29, in order to protect his children, before fleeing with his two children and setting off an Amber Alert only to be found in Keene a day later.

Duren is now awaiting sentencing and could be sentenced as early as December.
