MANCHESTER, N.H.-The FBI released its findings Wednesday evening on the mass shooting at Brown University in December, detailing when the gunman, Claudio Neves Valente,48, stored weapons in New Hampshire.

According to officials, Neves Valente began planning the attacks as early as 2022.

The FBI said he transported firearms to a storage unit in Salem that same year. One of the weapons was used in the Brown University shooting that left two students dead and 9 wounded.

Authorities recovered both weapons inside the Salem storage unit, where Neves Valente was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Brown University shooting prompted a five-day, multi-state manhunt for Neves Valente.
