A man was arrested Monday after police said he stole a car in Nashua and led officers on a chase that ended in a crash in front of the Manchester Police Department. Police said the chase started after a carjacking on Temple Street in Nashua. Two Manchester officers saw the car driving near Elm Street and Granite Street by the Market Basket. They said the car went down Valley Street and hit another car before running into several of the boulders placed in front of the police department. Police identify the driver as 53-year-old Barton Tibando of Nashua. He’s facing several charges, including reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, receiving stolen property, conduct after an accident and resisting arrest.
