The Attorney General’s Office is responding to an officer-involved shooting that occurred early this morning in Northfield.
The incident reportedly occurred at a private residence as officers were responding to a domestic disturbance call and resulted in one adult female being shot by one of the responding officers. The adult female died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding this incident are now under active investigation. The name of the deceased will be released following notification of next of kin.
