MANCHESTER, N.H.- A judge has granted a request from Adam Montgomery for a review of his sentence on weapons charges.

The approval comes despite some hurdles Montgomery faced after he missed a key deadline which resulted in the Sentence Review Board dismissing his request, however the judge in charge of the board ended up granting a motion to reinstate Montgomery’s request after he claimed his replies weren’t being delivered from the Virginia prison where he’s serving his sentence.

Montgomery is currently servicing more than 43 years on gun-related charges and other felonies and recently had his 2nd murder conviction in the death of his daughter Harmony Montgomery overturned.
