MANCHESTER, N.H. Prominent business owner and inventor Dean Kamen has released a statement in response to a photo released by the House Oversight Committee in which he appears alongside English billionaire Richard Branson and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In a statement Friday Kamen released a statement saying, “I have been a guest of Richard Branson on his Necker Island a number times for conferences and fundraisers. I believe this photo must have been taken during one of those events many years ago.”

“I have no knowledge of any of the horrific actions of Jeffrey Epstein other than what I have learned from news reports.”

It should be noted that Kamen has not been accused of wrongdoing in connection to Epstein and his crimes.

The response comes after the House Oversight Committee on Friday released 19 photos of Epstein featuring prominent public figures including President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, filmmaker Woody Allen and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates.
