MANCHESTER N.H.- Manchester’s Board of Mayor and Alderman this week overwhelmingly approved agreements with two city police unions.
The contracts include guidelines for overtime, training, health care benefits, vacation time, promotions and pay for extra details.
According to officials in Manchester there has been a significant reduction in overall crime.
In 2024 Manchester’s total crime rate decreased by 16% compared with 2023 and decreased 35% compared with the 10-year average.
