RYE, N.H.- Frank Nappo,55, recently plead guilty in federal court to a charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with a multi‑million‑dollar scheme to bill clients for fabricated market survey data.
According to court documents Nappo was a senior leader at Op4G, a local private market research company, and later at Slice, another U.S. market research firm.
In 2014, Nappo, along with other executives, decided to boost company revenues by generating fraudulent survey data.
Investigators allege the scheme targeted at least 64 victims, including Google, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and several U.S. universities – Nappo faces up to 20 years in prison.
