A snowmobiler was airlifted to a local hospital Saturday night after a crash in Moultonborough. New Hampshire Fish and Game said a 23-year-old from Massachusetts was injured after hitting a tree. Investigators determined he failed to negotiate a curve in the trail. The man, identified at Zachary Whittemore, is facing charges of driving while intoxicated.

In Chesterfield Saturday evening, two lost snowmobilers were rescued. Fish and Game said the riders were lost in Pisgah State Park. Conservation officers said the two riders, from Florida, were running low on fuel and phone battery and were getting cold. Officers were able to help them return safely to where they were staying.
