Utility providers prepared for power outages

Utility companies are preparing for an elevated risk of power outages. Eversource says it’s prepared to send northern crews farther south to help if weather-related issues stretch resources. Unitil says it’s positioning crews ahead of the storm, while Liberty advises customers to keep gas meters clear of accumulating ice and snow. All the utility providers are encouraging their customers to report outages and emergencies as soon as they occur and if you come across a downed power line, stay as far away as possible.
