Webster man sentenced for detonating pipe bombs

MANCHESTER,N.H.- A Webster man will spend the next five years in prison for building and detonating pipe bombs in Wear in 2023.

On Tuesday Dale Stewart, 57, appeared in Federal court and was sentenced after pleading guilty back in April.

Authorities say the first bomb built by Stewart was found near a home and was the cause of a small fire, and that a person was injured when the approached his second device which also exploded.

Police say a search of Stewart’s vehicle led to a third device which had not gone off yet.
