Working Dog Foundation

The mission of the Working Dog Foundation is to help police departments start K-9 programs. The WDF provides assistance with the costs of starting and maintaining those programs  by offering financial help, training and K-9 certifications through the United States Police Canine Association.

As town and municipal budgets are reduced, police and public safety departments have been forced to review their K-9 resources. As a result, money for training and travel to out-of-state training facilities have often been cut or eliminated.

The Working Dog Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life and safety in our communities. These dogs help protect our police officers and help them locate and rescue missing persons, detect dangerous drugs, weapons and preserve order.

More information about the New Hampshire Police K-9 Academy and the Working Dog Foundation can be found on Facebook and Instagram
