  • New Hampshire State Office of Veterans Services – The mission of the State of New Hampshire Division of Veterans Services is to assist veterans who are residents of New Hampshire or their dependents in securing all benefits or preferences to which they may be entitled under any state or federal laws or regulations.
  • NH Care Path – Veteran/Military Support services provide information about services and supports for individuals who have served or are currently serving in the Military, and their families.
  • New Hampshire Veterans Home – The mission of the New Hampshire Veterans Home is to provide high quality, professional, long-term care services to the Granite State’s elderly and disabled veterans with compassion, respect, and dignity.
  • Easter Seals Military and Veterans Services – in partnership with Veterans Count, responds to the unmet needs of Service Members, Veterans, and their Families to ensure that they can thrive in their communities.
  • Harbor Homes’ Veterans FIRST program – provides a mix of affordable housing, employment, and supportive services to end or prevent homelessness among veterans and their families who live in New Hampshire.
  • Northeast Passage – provides adaptive sports and recreation and community-based recreation therapy services for veterans and military personnel.
  • Mesothelioma Hub: Each year, an estimated 3,300 people are diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma, a rare but virulent type of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Of those patients, nearly a third are veterans who were exposed to high levels of toxic dust and fibers while serving on military bases and working on ships or in shipyards.
  • State of New Hampshire Department of Employment Security – provides a range of free employment services resources and tools to assist in the job search process. NHES provides priority of service to veterans and eligible spouses for the receipt of employment and training services.
  • Veterans Count – a charity and assistance program for veterans and military families throughout New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
  • Home for Our Troops – Homes Donated By HOFT Go To Injured Vets, Helping Them Regain Their Freedom.

  • Veterans & Mesothelioma: Asbestos VA Claims & Benefits – Veterans who served in certain military occupations between 1930 and 1980 have a high risk of developing mesothelioma from asbestos exposure. Veterans account for 30% of the estimated 3,000 mesothelioma cases diagnosed annually. Veterans who develop mesothelioma because of military asbestos exposure can file for VA benefits.
