Manchester/Keene IT Manager

 Support, aid and otherwise maintain all IT and technology-based infrastructure for Saga Communications, a publicly traded broadcast company in its’ New England operations (Brattleboro, Keene, Manchester).

Details of the position include:

  • Knowledge of LAN and WAN
  • Understanding of Windows Active Directory, MCSE or 3 years relevant experience
  • Understanding of L2, L3 networks, router and firewall functions (no configuration or management of the devices is required)
  • Desktop support skills including the ability to support Office 365 and Outlook
  • Experience with Symantec Backup Exec
  • Solid technical, writing, and communication skills
  • Quickly learning new processes, being a team player, and taking ownership of local IT operations as well as contribute to a team of IT engineers.
  • Having three or more years of experience in an IT environment which utilizes a Help Desk to assign your work and support
  • Expect to regularly work some nights, weekends, and additional
  • Ideal candidate will have an interest and understanding of audio, and audio delivery in the broadcast radio industry
  • The position requires a strong self-starter as well as someone able to identify and request the information as
  • This position requires reimbursed and regular travel to Brattleboro VT, Keene NH and Manchester

Digital Marketing Sales Representative

We are looking for an energetic Sales Representative to help expand our digital marketing footprint in New England. A self-starter to focus sales efforts on digital marketing services, especially PPC/SEM management, targeted display and direct response marketing.

While we will provide leads to you that we generate through our website and marketing campaigns, you will need to be aggressive and proactive in generating your own leads through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, events and prior relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • PPC/SEM management, targeted display and direct response marketing
  • Discuss initial client needs, prepare proposals and deliver presentations
  • Understand client’s pain points and eloquently describe our digital marketing solutions and how they will meet client’s goals
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly etiquette with clients, build a relationship with them and win them over
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends
  • Log all lead activity, deals and status in our CRM

Requirements:

  • Experience selling is a big plus
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts including PPC, SEM, SEO, social media marketing, display advertising, retargeting etc.
  • Experience with CRMs
  • Ability to easily build a rapport with prospects
  • Ability to listen to clients, understand their situation and come up with creative solutions to address their needs
  • Qualify, prospect, present, and close new accounts

Part Time Street Team Member

Are you interested in radio, promotions, and event marketing? Are you outgoing, responsible, and do you like talking to people at fun events? Are you comfortable learning new software?  Want to learn how a radio station works on a day to day basis? If so, you could be a great member of the Manchester Media Group Promotions Team! You’ll be representing 95.7 WZID, 96.5 Live Free Country, WFEA 1370 AM/99.9 FM, Rewind 94.1 Manchester and 106.9/103.1 The Outlaw!

The Work:
You will interact with thousands of listeners of Manchester Media Group’s five stations on a regular basis. By executing marketing campaigns and on-the-street promotions for clients and various community organizations, you will become a vital asset to our success! You’ll set up and be our on-site presence at concerts, plays, grand openings, and other events. There is also the possibility of available hours during the week to assist at the radio station in the Promotions, marketing and production departments.

The Hours:
Monthly schedules are provided, though updates occur regularly. Hours can range from 2-20 hours per week depending on your availability. Typically, you should be able to work at least a few weekends a month and be able to drive our station vehicles to and from events.

To Apply:
This position would best fit local students (18+) who are working to obtain a Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Communications, Marketing, Broadcast Journalism, or something similar but we welcome anyone with an interest in broadcasting and events.
